Meet the expert
LAURA JUNG
Since 2014, our founder Laura has worked in close proximity to those shaping contemporary Korean beauty: advanced laboratories, emerging brands, master practitioners, and discreet figures within the industry.
A visionary in introducing K-beauty to Europe, she founded Jung Magazine, the first French-language publication dedicated to the subject, laying the foundation for a more expert, cultural, and nuanced understanding of a market that was, at the time, still largely undiscovered.
She went on to support the import, distribution, and development of Korean brands internationally, helping structure their presence across European markets.
In 2020, she founded On The Shelf, a strategic consulting agency collaborating with cosmetic groups and luxury players on positioning, storytelling, and expansion.
Now based in Seoul, she extends this work through The Chapter Seoul, in a more intimate, embodied, and highly selective approach.
